Station refurbishment and infrastructure maintenance for leading contractors such as Balfour Beatty, Clancy Docwra, Skanska and Spence Refit.
BRIEF
H&S Rail & Transport have carried out the following projects over recent years:

As part of Balfour Beatty’s ‘Metronet Alliance’ for London Underground, redecoration programmes at stations including Leyton, Bethnal Green, Elm Park and Wanstead

Network Rail station rebranding for Spence Refit on the Greater Anglia line

Station infrastructure projects with Clancy Docwra and Skanska
SOLUTION
Working on the rail network is a highly specialised task and calls for particular skills and experience. H&S have all the necessary capabilities including:

Grit blasting, chemical and mechanical preparation

Specialist existing coating removal techniques (and hazardous waste removal)

Application of the latest industrial, marine and intumescent coatings
-
Rolling staff training in all necessary decorating and industrial painting techniques

Additional certification for the rail environment (including Full Achilles Accreditation)
As a result H&S have created working relationships such as:

Ongoing involvement in the ‘Metronet Alliance’ with Balfour Beatty

Preferred sub-contractor to Clancy Docwra, successfully completing a 4 year framework agreement on LUL
-
Inclusion in the new Clancy/Skanska framework agreement with LUL
-
Framework agreement with Spence Refit for rebranding throughout the Greater Anglia network
