Supporting the Community 

At H&S, we pride ourselves on doing what’s right, even when it's not the easiest path. This dedication sets us apart from other contractors. As a family-owned business, we believe that our contracts succeed when we invest in the community and involve local people. Our Social Value Strategy focuses on critical societal issues, including unemployment, inspiring young people, social inclusion, community regeneration, and environmental sustainability. This strategy is an essential part of our overall business approach, fully backed by our directors and senior management.

Our local branches and Community Engagement Coordinators (CECs) work in partnership with our clients to ensure that we deliver real social value across all contracts and beyond. Our Social Value team, led by our Community Engagement Manager, is responsible for ensuring that deadlines, targets, and activities align with the unique needs of the community while also meeting contractual requirements.
